  • Spring Shoulder (May 25 – June 21): Enjoy a tranquil mountain getaway with select amenities open Thursday through Sunday. The Blake hotel provides luxurious lodging, while dining options like Rhoda’s Restaurant, 192, and The Bavarian offer delicious culinary experiences. Gear up for adventures at Taos Sports and Confluence retail shops, and find assistance at Guest Services located at Lake Fork and the Eis Haus Lawn.

  • Summer (June 22 – September 17): Experience the mountain in full bloom with activities available seven days a week. Take a scenic lift ride on Lift 1, and enjoy refreshments at the Whistlestop. For thrill-seekers, the Via Ferrata is slated to open around June 29th, conditions permitting, offering a unique climbing adventure.

  • Fall Shoulder (September 18 – October 22): Embrace the autumnal beauty of Taos Ski Valley with weekend operations from Thursday to Sunday. While Lift 1 and Whistlestop are closed, you can still enjoy the Via Ferrata and select restaurants on weekends.

What’s New and Returning for Summer

While lift-served mountain biking is paused due to Lift 4 upgrades, uphill biking is planned on the “Green Chile Flow Trail,” with downhill options on “Rip It” or “Risky Biscuits.” Scenic Lift Rides are relocated to Lift 1, perfect for accessing hiking trails.

Excitingly, the “12 Weeks of Taos” event series returns from June 29th to September 17th, promising weekends packed with live music, movie nights, and rejuvenating free yoga sessions.
