“He progressively gained invaluable experience in these diverse restaurants and began imparting his kitchen expertise to his children,” Alvarez explained. “Fueled by the profits generated from their inaugural location, they strategically reinvested and inaugurated their second establishment in Bellbrook in 2001,” Alvarez detailed. “The Bellbrook community embraced them warmly, and the second location achieved even greater success.” The financial gains from these first two ventures were then channeled into a third location in Mason in 2002, which subsequently relocated to Beavercreek.
El Toro’s expansion continued robustly, with new outposts emerging in Vandalia, Huber Heights, Dayton, Beavercreek, Springfield, Englewood, Springboro, and Centerville. Alvarez attributes this remarkable growth to the restaurant’s commitment to nurturing strong customer relationships and a consistent strategy of reinvesting in the business.
“They operate prudently within their financial means and consistently channel profits back into future projects,” Alvarez stated. “They recognized the Dayton and Springfield vicinities as fertile ground for cultivating their community presence.” The Munoz Family, comprising five brothers and one sister, remains deeply engaged in the daily operations of the restaurants. Notably, four brothers—Samuel, Adalberto, Juan, and Sergio—maintain a particularly active presence.
