They collaborated with Mexican architect Javier Sanchez and Iranian-French designer India Mahdavi, resulting in a space that feels as contemporary and innovative today as it did at its inception. The hotel features sleek metal shades that provide privacy to guest rooms overlooking an open-air atrium. Inside, the furniture is a blend of modern and playful, with pieces reminiscent of the Jetsons era – think white semicircle leather couches and lacquered tables shaped like chess pieces. Bold yet minimalist color accents, such as turquoise walls and lemon-yellow chairs, add pops of vibrancy.
