Off-Season (November – February)

Spring (March – May 14)

Special Discounts and Important Rate Notes:
- 10% Discount: We proudly offer a 10% discount to First Responders, Seniors, and Military personnel Sunday through Thursday (excluding Summer season).
- Discount Application: Please note that discounts cannot be combined with already reduced rates.
- Weekend Minimum Stay: A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends during March – July.
- Holiday Surcharge: New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day holidays are subject to an additional $25 per night surcharge and may require a minimum night stay.
- Corner Room Surcharge: East and West End Corner Rooms incur a $25 per night surcharge due to their premium views.
Our standard room rates are based on occupancy: 4 persons for rooms with 2 queen beds and 2 people for King rooms. An extra person surcharge of $25 per night applies, with a maximum of one extra person allowed per room. Children under 8 years old stay free of extra person charges. Please note that extra bedding is the responsibility of the guest; we provide pack-n-play cribs upon request and availability but do not offer rollaway beds or pallets.
While daily room service is not standard, it is available upon request for a $10 service charge. Fresh towels are always available upon request.
El Governor Policies: Payment, Cancellation, and Check-In/Out
Payment & Cancellation: To secure your reservation at our Mexico Beach FL hotel, a one-night payment is processed at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged 6 days prior to your scheduled arrival. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your arrival date to avoid a one-night charge.
Refunds:
- Full Refund: Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund, less a $20 credit card processing fee.
- Partial Refund: Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in the loss of the one-night deposit.
- No-Show Policy: Reservations classified as a no-show are non-refundable.
Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in time is after 4:00 PM CST, and check-out is before 11:00 AM CST. Late check-outs may be subject to additional fees.

Resort Rules for a Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay
El Governor Beachfront Resort is dedicated to providing a family-friendly and respectful environment for all our guests. To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, we have established the following resort rules:
- No Pets Allowed: We maintain a pet-free policy to ensure the comfort and hygiene of all guests.
- Family Destination: El Governor prides itself on being a family-oriented resort. Behavior that disrupts this atmosphere or compromises our reputation will result in immediate removal from the property. Our premises are monitored by security cameras for everyone’s safety and peace of mind.
- Quiet Time: Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 11:00 PM CST to 8:00 AM CST. We ask all guests to be considerate of others during these hours.
- Child Supervision: Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult in all buildings and throughout the property.
- Problem Reporting: Please report any issues with your room or any concerns on the property to our staff promptly, and we will address them as quickly as possible.
- Parking: Each room is permitted one vehicle. Overflow parking for extra vehicles, watercraft, and trailers is available in the RV Park overflow lot. Vehicle passes are required and can be obtained at the reservation desk for $10.00 per day per extra vehicle. Please display your pass on your dashboard.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking and vaping are restricted to designated areas only. Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms, parking areas, balconies, the bar, and the pool deck. Violation of this policy may result in eviction.
- Seagull Feeding: Please refrain from feeding seagulls from balconies or anywhere on the property.
- No Grills or Cooking on Balconies: For safety reasons, grills and cooking are not permitted on balconies.
- No Draining Coolers or Throwing Items from Balconies: Please dispose of cooler contents properly and refrain from throwing anything from balconies.
- Fireworks Prohibited: Fireworks are not allowed anywhere on the property or on Mexico Beach.
- Illegal Drugs: Possession of illegal drugs will result in immediate eviction.
- No Skateboards or Scooters: For guest safety and pedestrian traffic flow, skateboards, scooters, and similar toys are not permitted on the premises.
- Parking Lot Speed Limit: The speed limit in the parking lot is 5 MPH. Please drive cautiously and be mindful of pedestrians.
